"THANKFUL"

Well again it has been a few months. I have taken sometime this last month and thought of the things that I am thankful for.
Family
Friends
Husband
Jobs
Jobs for Allen
Insurance
Food Storage
Church
The Gospel
My Father
My Grandma
Our Children
Our Grandchildren (all 28 of them)
Home
The Seasons
Health
Gardens
A warm place to go home to
Food on the table
Talents
Safety
And many more!
Well my prayers go out to my neighbors who have been very ill and who have lost love ones.
To all the people without jobs
To all the people with no food on the table
To all the people with no place to go
I am so blessed to have a great Husband who works very hard and provides well for me. And for such wonderful, thoughtful, loving, children. And for the cutest Grandkids around. (I'm partial)
My Dad is adjusting pretty well still at the assisted living center. He is struggling with his memory, but is eating well and visiting . Please take time to go see him as he doesn't remember that you have been there. What a wonderful Father he is and a example of christ he has been in many lifes.
We are so glad that Jason Baker was able to go back to work this week , and hope that this will be a good start to his recovery. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our children(most of them) and loved ones.
Remember we are so blessed and have so much. If not look around and you will always want your life back. Lets all try to play in forward and remember others at this time of year.
Hope to be back soon.

Well as you can see its been a few months. We just recently put my Dad in a assisted living center. Believe it or not he is really liking it and is happy. It makes me happy that he is keeping busy with new friends. some days he makes new friends again. It is hard to see your parents getting old but you always want the best for them. We are lucky he is in the Heritage Home in Hurricane so he is close to visit. He would love a visit from any of you.
Allen is not real busy but little jobs seem to appear which were thankful for.
Believe it or not Krista turned 18 years old yesterday she is such a sweet girl. This has been a busy month for birthdays. Jason C, Holly, Heidi, Chris, Jenny, Jaxson, Trek, and krista.
Im so thankful for our family.
We are sorry about Jason Bakers Grandma passing away she was a very special lady. We also wish Jason B a succesful surgery.
Well as usual life is crasy but happy to be here.

comments

Well today I am just rambling on, I was wondering if anyone realized that I had a blog as of not many comments have been left.Maybe this could be for reasons that it is boring, or I don't update often, or I'm a older person with a blog, or possible I don't know what I am talking about. Well I will try to be more interesting in the future. Our prayers go out to Randy and his family we sure hope things go better and you start healing. Until next time.

SENIOR PROM1

Well I'll tell ya what Love is:
I went to SaltLakeCity for the weekend to spend time with my 95 year old Grandma.
She lives in a assisted living Home and on Saturday they had a SENIOR PROM for them.
2.00 pm - Make up and Hair styling
6.30 pm- SENIOR PROM
they had a band there from Kaysville Highschool with singers and they were all dressed in formual wear.
The Highschool Boys asked the Women to dance and the Highschool girls asked the Men to dance. There was many happy tears from my sister and I.
Love is a women asking her husband(he is in the wheelchair) to dance. Honey could I have this dance? And she push's him around the dance floor. The Highschool kids showed so much love and concern for these Elderly. And yes the music was from the 1920's.
what a wonderful opportunity!
Thanks Grandma we love you!

Grandma

So Jackie and I are off to see our Grandma this weekend. She is 95 years almost 96 and is now in a rest home for good. We are sad to see her have to sell her house and move to the rest home. Life has so many changes. My Grandma has to be the most caring, loving, selflessness, thoughtful, person I know. She always seems to go with the flo and is pretty settled in now. I'm so thankful to have her as my Grandma!!!! So we are headed out for laughs, Diet Coke, Cards, and yes we do drive up to the speed limit( thats for our kids). We will see ya on Sunday morning!! With some FUN stories of course.
LIFE is so Precious, Beautiful, Wonderful, Happy, Full, sometimes it can be very sad! Our Family is so sad to hear of Lorraine's Cancer. What a Strong, Faithful, Loving person she is. She is struggling but you never hear a negative comment from her. Something I'm sure alot of us could learn from. We had a Beautiful wedding for her daughter last weekend so much great help from so many loving family members. Thanks to everyone's help. I hope everyone can remember Danny and Lorraine and there family in your prayers.

Great Weekend!

Well it was a busy weekend, Tiffany and Brian were married on Saturday . We had lots to do to get ready. Baxter, Bella, and Bridger were such good help scrubing chairs. It was early in the morning with cold water all 66 of them. The wedding was beautiful we had alot of people come. We thank everyone who came and also who helped. We are so happy to have Brian in our family he is so good to Tif and the girls. cadence and Madelyn. (even if he calls me Sandra!) The Grandkids were so happy to see each other and play inside, outside, and of course on the mountain. The house was pretty busy all week, and very enjoyable. We were so happy to have Grant and Holly here and there new Baby Ava and the other siblings. It was so nice to all hang out together. Tiffany and Brian are on there honeymoom so we having been juggling the girls and enjoying them. We hope that Jason's back survived the weekend. And happy to say that Allen doesn't hear wear so the noise didn't bother him.
I'm so happy to have such a wonderful family. I will try and post pictures on this weekend!

Happy Memories

What a great time we had on Sunday It was so cool to have Grant and Holly, Jason and Heidi, Brian and Tiffany, Beau and Stefanie, and 11 grandkids. (plus Grandpa Cox). It was like old times having all that help. My Dad thought there was about 50 of us. At times it sounded like that. The kids had so much fun up on the mountian behind our house. This is what life is all about!

My Oregon Trip

I am in Oregon visiting the Zoo-The Zitting Family. My daughter, son-in-law, grandkids and my new granddaughter Ava. She is the cutest. The other day we went exploring Portland and I saw parts that I have never seen before. It reminds me alot of Seattle. But my favorite part is spending time with my grandkids. Even if it means picking lice out of Isabella's hair.

Today my son-in-law Jason Baker had back surgery. He is doing better and at home now. I am thankful that all went well and he is on the road to recovery. Today is also my grandson's Bridger's 9th Birthday. He is such a talented and creative young man. I am so proud to have him as my grandson. I love him so much.

I hope I can keep up with this blogging thing. I will update more later.
