Empty Nest!

Hi, well its time for a new blog for sure. I know I wrote empty nest as my title but I can finally say that I am enjoying life as a empty nester. Beau has been gone for 2 years now and him and Stefanie are going to have there first child a boy! in September. The time in our lifes as we are raising our children is very busy, crasy, emotional, happy, time consuming, sleepless, worrysome, fun, and so worth it. But it is such a wonderful feeling and feeling of accomplishment to see them all venture off and start there on lifes. The Blessings they give you back are so wonderful. The Grandchildren that love and care for you so much is all worth it. Between Allen and I we have 10 children, and 29 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way. But about the empty nest it is so nice to watch a whole movie through with no interuption, take a long shower, clean your house and it stays clean except the dust, sleep in if you want and can, shop with out taking a bunch of kids and all there needs, cook only for two, read or write a letter without someone yelling your name. But this one is for my kids ( I can actually have all of my 32 ounces of diet coke) unless the grandkids are around.LOL
Life is good no matter what stage we are in it is a constant learning process but full of many opportunities and much love and caring from some wonderful Children, Spouses, Grandkids, Family and Friends. Thanks for all all of you do!

Now to Allen - he is home Day 3 after Total knee replacement . This is his second one in two weeks as I type he is out side riding side saddle on his 4 wheeler. He is doing well but so hard to keep down some. I will not be back to work until Tuesday and by then he will hopefully not need his walker any longer. He is such a tough man they are calling him the bionic man. He is a wonderful husband and such a hard worker . This will make it so much easier for him to get around now.
Just want to say thanks to everyone for the visits and phone calls.
Remember " Life is what we make it"
until next time.
